How to Stay Productive During Home Quarantine
Just more than two weeks ago, Enhanced Community Quarantine was announced. Now, people on social media are losing their minds from being stuck all day at home. We spend so much time scrolling and commenting on random posts that we take for granted the lengthy free time we have for self improvement. So, here are some of the things you can do to be more productive during home quarantine.
Indulge in a Passion Project
They say, “Skills are cheap, passion is priceless.” Might your passion be painting, writing, or dancing, it’s the time to work on these things while there is plenty of free time. Aside from having a healthy distraction, passion can also improve your mental health while being under quarantine. Who knows, this passion of yours could make you refocus your life after quarantine.
Read a Book
Social Media could be addictive and toxic at times. It might be time to go over that book you left on halfway done a few months back. Time to exercise that mind of yours through reading.
Exercise at Home
Being at home 24 hours a day, every single day, could be unhealthy to our bodies. To have a healthy wellbeing, adults are recommended to have at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise a day. During regular days, people exercise on a daily basis without noticing it. Although during quarantine people are much more stagnant, thus, we need to actively exercise. Therefore, it might time for you to do some squats, curl-ups, or online yoga classes.
Rearrange your Wardrobe
Organizing your wardrobe can make the daily routine much more efficient. It reduces the daily chaos of looking for something to wear during regular days. However, people tend to be busier during regular days. Hence, no time to actually put effort in strategizing wardrobe placements. Although, now, there’s time to do it.
Help with Household Chores
If you’re living in a household with someone doing the chores for you. It might be time to do your fair share of household chores. It not only increases the cleanliness of your home, which is very important with the virus spreading, but it also creates a bond between you and your family.
There are lots of ways to be productive even when you’re at home. And take advantage of this quarantine situation to do the stuff you’ve been meaning to do when you’re on your regular programming. You’re not only being productive but you’re actually diverting your focus on the brighter side of this pandemic situation.
